Koshikishima Islands

The Koshikishima Islands are some of the many cozy islands in Kyūshū. We are located off the western coast of Kagoshima, Japan, just a short ways out in the Eastern China Sea.
You know, while living in a city, sometimes we tend to feel drained, almost empty. But why does the city empty us out?
We may be able to discover more clues to this answer―here in Koshikishima.
Every now and then, we’ll be posting photos of our ordinary lives: the people, the animals, and our incredible abundance of nature―from sea to sky. You’ll be able to see how we live in tune with nature and within a tight “islandy” neighbourhood that is always willing to share the quiet happiness and daily victories with one another.
We hope to continue to honor nature in order to recognize what we’ve lost during the last century. We want to gain the humanity of life back.
Here, you will be able to see the everyday “slice of life” in Koshikishima. We hope you’ll understand more of the small, daily beauty of Japanese island culture. And of course, if you want to visit, you are welcome ANY TIME.
